AMI Paris
AMI is a French luxury ready-to-wear fashion company founded by Alexandre Mattiussi in 2010.
History
[edit]AMI was founded by Alexandre Mattiussi on October 14, 2010. He had previously worked at Christian Dior's "30 Montaigne" men's line, at Givenchy as first assistant for men, and Marc Jacobs.[1][2]
The brand quickly gained international success.[3][4] In December 2012, the brand opened its first boutique in Paris. In 2013, AMI won the ANDAM from Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode and, in 2016, he became a member of Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.[5]
In 2017, the brand launched its AMI de cœur line.[3]
As of 2021, the brand had six boutiques in Europe (including 3 own boutiques and 3 corners), 1 boutique in the United States in New York, 8 boutiques in China, and 6 boutiques in Japan.[6] In 2024, that had grown to more than 60 standalone stores and more than 700 points of sale.[4]
