2025 Equateur disease outbreak

In Équateur an province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo there has been unknown virus identified with patients reporting hemorrhagic symptoms. So far, there has been 50 deaths associated with this outbreak and 419 people have infected due to this unknown disease.[1]


Outbreak

The outbreak started in the town of Bamako when children at the age of 5 died as a follow up of eating bats in Less than two weeks after that outbreak there was another outbreak reported in Bomate which is in the same province as the other outbreak.[2]


Symptoms

The symptoms when you first get this unknown disease are fever, headaches, diarrhea and fatigue but the symptoms get more worse as time goes on.[3]
