The 2024–25 Vermont Catamounts women's basketball team represents the University of Vermont during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Catamounts, led by sixth-year head coach Alisa Kresge, play their home games at the Patrick Gym in Burlington, Vermont as members of the America East Conference.
Previous season
[edit]The Catamounts finished the 2023–24 season 25–12, 12–4 in America East play, to finish in third place.[1] They defeated UMBC[2] and Albany[3] before falling to Maine in the America East tournament championship game.[4] They received an at-large bid to the WNIT,[5] where they defeated Niagara in the second round,[6] Colgate in the Super 16[7] and Purdue in the Great 8,[8] before falling to eventual tournament champions Saint Louis in the Fab 4.[9]
