The 2024–25 Vermont Catamounts women's basketball team represents the University of Vermont during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Catamounts, led by sixth-year head coach Alisa Kresge, play their home games at the Patrick Gym in Burlington, Vermont as members of the America East Conference.

Previous season

The Catamounts finished the 2023–24 season 25–12, 12–4 in America East play, to finish in third place.[1] They defeated UMBC[2] and Albany[3] before falling to Maine in the America East tournament championship game.[4] They received an at-large bid to the WNIT,[5] where they defeated Niagara in the second round,[6] Colgate in the Super 16[7] and Purdue in the Great 8,[8] before falling to eventual tournament champions Saint Louis in the Fab 4.[9]
