The 2024–25 Hockey India League, known as the Hero Hockey India League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixth season of the Hockey India League. It was held from 28 December 2024 to 1 February 2025.[1] Odisha Warriors won the women's league.[2]
In April 2024, Hockey India announced Big Bang Media Ventures as its commercial and marketing partner agency.[3] The league had 8 men's and 4 women's league teams.[4]
Format
[edit]Eight teams for the men's tournament and four teams for the women's tournament are placed in a group to play round-robin matches. The top four teams qualify for the knockout stage.[5] Playing eleven, teams had to have a minimum of two and a maximum of five foreign players.[6]
