The 2023 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team represented the University of Notre Dame as an independent during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by second-year head coach Marcus Freeman, the Fighting Irish compiled a record of 10–3. The team play home games at Notre Dame Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana. The season was highlighted by a blowout home win over No. 10 USC and a victory in the Sun Bowl against No. 19 Oregon State. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team drew an average home attendance of 77,622 in 2023.[1]
