Zasieki [zaˈɕɛki] (Lower Sorbian: Štapaty Drot; Upper Sorbian: Kałaty Grót) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Brody, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland,[1] on the border with Germany. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Brody, 35 km (22 mi) west of Żary, and 62 km (39 mi) west of Zielona Góra.
It lies on the Nysa Łużycka river opposite the German town of Forst. Before World War II the village was known as Berge and was part of the town of Forst. A road and railroad border crossing is located in Zasieki.
There is a train stop in Zasieki.
