Zacks Place Sports Bar & Grill ("Zacks") was the first sports bar[1] in Little Rock, Arkansas, launched in 1988.

History

[edit]

In 1987, during a trip to New York, restaurant founders Alex Zacney and Rick Baranski were inspired to create Zacks after a waitress offered them a beer while they were watching football. Zacks Place became the first sports bar to open in Little Rock in May 1988.[2]

In 2015, Zacks Place was voted 13th in the Best of 2015 – Neighborhood Bar category and was ranked 16th for Best Neighborhood Burger.[3]
