XHVOZ-FM is a radio station on 107.5 FM in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The station is operated by Grupo Audiorama and carries an upcoming rock format.

History

[edit]

XHVOZ received its first concession on October 2, 1979. It was owned by Radiodifusoras y Televisoras del Noreste, S.A. de C.V. and initially operated by Promomedios. Its assigned call sign, never used, was XHGR-FM.[3]

In 2015, Organización PRAM was replaced by Radio Emisora XHSP-FM as the concessionaire as part of a restructuring of the stations then owned by Grupo Radio México.[4] GRM merged with corporate cousin Grupo Radio Centro in 2016.

On November 1, 2021 in the morning, La Z went off the air, ceding control of the station to Grupo Audiorama Comunicaciones, starting a new concept called Vibe FM, which, at the beginning of its transition period, transmitted an entire day the song "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, and the next day, "Recuérdame" by Carlos Rivera, thus, on November 3, the new format has begun, entirely of electronic music.

However, Vibe FM was dropped on July 28, 2024, to begin transmitting an upcoming new rock format starting August 5.
