What does "the Kate Winslet of Wikipedia" refer to? Is there anything wrong with Kate Winslet? AxelBoldt 20:41, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It is, I would assume, an allusion to being a figure of ridicule, which the pop culture media have sometimes made Winslet in recent years. Since Curry didn't explain his usage, though, I chose not to editorialize an interpretation directly into the article. --Michael Snow 06:33, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Reminds me of another (less publicized) incident

[edit]

I can't help but notice this issue reminds me of a similar problem with deviantART's founder and CEO. Where the Scott Jarkoff, the recently-fired founder of deviantART caught the current CEO of deviantART trying to edit the article to suit his views, regardless of other info countering his claim. --LBMixPro<Speak|on|it!> 01:33, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
