1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 were assigned to the Interstates, causing some renumbering.

1, ID to AZ
- Became mostly 1, and:
  - Extension of 8, Springville to North Lehi
  - Extension of 84, Hot Springs to south of Brigham City
  - 85, south of Brigham City to ID
2, Logan to Garden City
- Became 13
3, ID to WY
- Became 16
4, WY to NV
- Became mostly 2
- How had 4 gone through Salt Lake City?? It didn't use 186 or 201. According to the 202 description, it may have used 171, but the 171 description indicates that it didn't.
5, Ogden to Echo Junction
- Became 3
8, Springville to CO
- Became 4 east of west of Green River; extended north from Springville to North Lehi over old 1
10, Price to Salina
- Became 4 west of Fremont Junction
13, Sevier to Cove Fort
- Became 4
41, Brigham City to ID
- Became extension of 84 from Brigham City to east of Riverside (?), and 1 from east of Riverside (?) to ID
42, Haws Corner to ID
- Became 3 east of Snowville
67, Salt Lake City to Lake Point Junction via North Temple Street
- Became 2
84, Hot Springs to Roy
- Extended north from Hot Springs to east of Riverside (?) via parts of 1 and 41
201, Salt Lake City to north of Magna
- Extended over former 4, east to Parleys Canyon and west to Lake Point Junction

Some of these might have replaced the old roads.
