Signups open for The Core Contest

[edit]

The Core Contest—Wikipedia's most exciting contest—will take place this year from April 15 to May 31. The goal: to improve vital or other core articles, with a focus on those in the worst state of disrepair. Editing can be done individually, but in the past groups have also successfully competed. There is £300 of prize money divided among editors who provide the "best additive encyclopedic value". Signups are open now. Cheers from the judges, Femke, Casliber, Aza24.

If you wish to start or stop receiving news about The Core Contest, please add or remove yourself from the delivery list.

Rimini Protokoll

[edit]

I am trying to improve and expand the article on Rimini Protokoll, a group of contemporary artists / theatre directors. To my surprise, actually, this seems to be a very contentious issue. As usual I took care to source my amendments and to write as objectively as possible. Still, I meet a lot of resistance. Until now, I have not really understood the problem. Could anyone of you please have a look and perhaps give and informed 3rd opinion [on the article talk page]. Thank you so much! By the way the initial question group vs lable vs collective is nothing I would not negotiate about, but in the meantime a lot of other substantial contributions to the article were just deleted with [little] or [no] explicit justification (by the way [|not I] had been blocked but [the other user] for vandalizing my text, so that was no reason for reverting to his version, on the contrary). I guess it could help to have another perspective on the conflict and be it to understand better the other side...--Olag (talk) 07:23, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since the list falls under this WikiProject's scope, I am posting this notice here. It currently needs more comments, so if you've got time, please comment on the nomination page. Thanks in advance!
