Survey of women as political actors: participation in political life, barriers to participation, political attitudes, issues of special concern to women, and issues of particular concern to women of color.

Over 12 weeks, students will develop their writing and communication skills; information literacy; critical thinking; research skills; and collaboration through a Wikipedia Project. They will identify reliable sources and work with editors to improve public knowledge about women in politics, especially women from underrepresented groups. Can be women in the U.S. or in other countries. Can involve editing existing pages or creating new ones.
