Chemistry of the p-block elements including structure, bonding, and reactivity. Studies of chemical bonding will draw on techniques of wavefunction analysis including natural bond orbital (NBO) and Atoms in Molecules (AIM) theory; these take as input the results of modern quantum chemical calculations.
