  • For general computing articles, place {{WikiProject Computing|class=|importance=}} on article talk pages within the scope of this WikiProject.

The project has a number of task forces. Please use one of the following variants if applicable.

There are a number of projects closely related to WikiProject Computing. Articles in these projects are automatically added as to WikiProject Computing. As an alternate to using the project identification templates associated with those projects, association with these projects can be indicated through optional parameters to {{WikiProject Computing}}.

This is especially useful when an article is a member of more than one of the associated Wikiprojects or task forces: a single {{WikiProject Computing}} instance with multiple optional parameters can declare all project and task force affiliations.
