Meetup with online magazine East of Borneo for a Wikipedia training workshop and edit-a-thon to build a better online history of Southern California art. This next meetup in the Unforgetting L.A. series is presented in partnership with Dirty Looks: On Location 2018 and will focus on the history of Los Angeles's queer cinema and spaces. As always, beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend! We'll provide training for new editors at 7pm sharp.

Background
[edit]Unforgetting LA is a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thons started in July 2013 by the online art magazine East of Borneo. We meet throughout the year at local museums and art spaces to train new editors and build a better online history of art in Southern California. Previous hosts include the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Getty Research Institute, LACMA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the California African American Museum, the Hammer Museum, and the MAK Center for Art and Architecture.
