This user has been a prolific sockmaster who has engaged in sockpuppetry since at least June 2023. They frequently edit articles related to weather events that have occurred recently, especially tornadoes, they express interests in cats and Roblox via their username or user page, and may be active on their related talk pages, often asking if articles should be created on tornado events if they haven't been created for some time after they take place. They were indefinitely blocked and then later site banned due to their sockpuppetry. Edits may sometimes appear to be good faith edits; which can sometimes make identifying sockpuppets difficult.

[edit]Articles on 21st-century tornado events, especially post-2020 tornado events, including yearly articles on tornadoes, recent outbreaks and individual tornadoes, along with their associated talk pages, are frequently targeted pages for this sockpuppeteer. Their usernames and user pages may also reflect interests in cats and Roblox.
Habitual behavior
[edit]- The user often proposes articles on tornado events that have occurred recently which haven't received articles yet, and may create short draft articles on the events, either without getting consensus, or going against consensus from other editors. (examples - draft creations: 1, 2 - article proposals: 1, 2, 3)
- Usernames may reference tornadoes, cats, Roblox, include the word "cool", or may be a combination of these username patterns. (examples: Morganiscoolcat, Tornadoesandcats15, and "Robloxisfat", which was renamed to Bellacat999999)
- The sockpuppets most frequently incorporate cat phrases and/or tornado phrases into their usernames (e.g. User:Meatballrunfatcat, User:Catusfatusoldus, and User:Catstornadoesandmore123, among others.
- User pages may also reflect the interests listed above (example) or may reference the sockmaster account in the creation of their page. (examples: 1, 2)
- New accounts editing these weather/tornado-related topics may complain about IP blocks affecting them. (examples: 1, 2, 3)
- The user has been known to occasionally glamorize destructive events on articles or their associated talk pages. (example)
