Glasgow Museums Secondment

Glasgow Museums project page The first four months of the Residency will be spent as a secondment to Glasgow Museums, likely to be focussing on material and collections connected to the Kelvin Hall refurbishment project. Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum Kelvin Hall Riverside Museum The Burrell Collection GoMA People's Palace St Mungo Museum of Religious Life & Art Provand's Lordship Scotland Street School Museum GMRC In the first four months of the Residency, the Wikimedian-in-Residence will be seconded to Glasgow Museums. The starting point for the project will be the collections connected with Kelvin Hall, which is currently undergoing renovation. The Wikipedian will run a series of in-house training events for curators and staff. Glasgow Museums will use the residency as a ‘kick start’ for generating curators' enthusiasm and understanding, with the view for further work in the area in the future; particularly around the Kelvin Hall project.
