Reason: Mostly, it's quite striking, but there is an interesting historical aside. This photo was from a concert in East Berlin that fell right between Reagan's "tear down this wall" and the destruction of the wall. The resolution may not be the best, but there's an amazing amount of clarity in what pixels it does have. No regions are too black, no too white, and the depth of field is great.
