OriginalBashi-Bazouk by Jean-Léon Gérôme. The bashi-bazouk were irregular soldiers of the Ottoman army noted for their lack of discipline. For this painting Gérôme dressed a model in his studio with textiles he had acquired.

Amazing portrait, almost photorealistic when viewed at thumb size (and of great quality when viewed at full size)
