Another rugby list but this time about the best players in the world. Despite the distinct lack of Australians on the list, I'm still hoping that my antipodean review crew will still participate! My only question is do the tables in the stats section require column headers in order to comply with WP:ACCESS?

In the sentence starting "Since 2014, following...", "World Rugby Player of the Year" doesn't need to be emboldened again, it is just the same as the first line.

"In a year when the Rugby World Cup tournament is staged, performances in that event are also taken into account." The use of the word also made we think some other criteria had already been mentioned, but nothing has, so this wording is a bit confusing? Maybe this sentence needs to go after the following one: "The award is presented to honour "the achievements of those involved at the highest level of the world game on the field"."

"The winner receives a trophy." I mean, I can't really fault it, but this is a pretty diddy sentence. My wife would tell me that there is nothing wrong with small things, (okay, this is starting to sound bad – abort). Anyway, it might work better tacked onto another sentence? It just makes the paragraph seem a bit bullet-point like with such a short, bland statement.

Could you look at the table widths in the Statistics section; maybe consider making them all the same, but I'd certainly Wins by position in particular to be a bit wider. In terms of readability and visual appeal, it just looks a bit of a mess to me at the moment.
Actually, right now the coding seems beyond me, I'm wondering if these minutiae "win" tables are really necessary given the main table can be sorted by these properties in any case.... Support, I can't find an image of the trophy on it's own either unfortunately. Looks like it has changed design from the IRB days to the World Rugby brand too. "New Zealanders dominate the list of winners having received the award on nine occasions. Two All Blacks have won..." - need to somehow mention that NZ and ABs are actually same? Only neatish way I can think of is to insert "(nicknamed the All Blacks)" after "New Zealanders". (NB this may be important if, as 2017 is announced, you decide to replace the last two sentences of lede (where NZ and AB are obvious same team) with latest winner.)

Source review – All of the references appear to be reliable sources, and the link-checker shows that they all work. Spot-checks of refs 7, 30, and 33 revealed one small issue: the title of ref 33 is different than what is indicated here. I'd say it's likely that some of the text changed since you added the link; the title seemingly shows that the page originally had live coverage of the 2017 awards ceremony, while what's there now is more of a proper article. That's fixed, but it's an interesting point because URLs often change their title e.g. reports of disasters or terror attacks often update their titles rapidly in the early stages, and are actually quite likely to be archived with a variety of titles too. So I'm not entirely convinced that the title needed to be changed, but since I've spent more time talking about it than it took to fix, I might as well shut up now. Thanks for the source review.
