Discographies of Young Divas members
[edit]This is a featured topic nomination. Singers Ricki-Lee Coulter, Paulini Curuenavuli and Jessica Mauboy are former members of the pop group the Young Divas, their discography articles are featured lists. Singers Kate DeAraugo and Emily Williams are current members of the pop group, however their discography articles have been deleted, for they were ineligible for featured list status, due to their limited subject matter. (DeAraugo's FLC and Williams' PR and subsequent AFD) Subtopics of the each member's discography (containing their releases) and the addition of Kate DeAraugo and Emily Williams discographies to this topic are possible improvements. Also, Young Divas discography was not promoted to featured list status, due to limited subject matter, and so has subsequently been peer reviewed. Furthermore, all lists within the topic are linked together using a template, Template:Young Divas. Thanks! Alex Douglas (talk) 03:13, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose main list should me merged into the group article. Nergaal (talk) 18:16, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Comment - I think this topic is a bit disjointed. The lead article in no way mentions the individual discographies of the members of the band, and hence the lead is somewhat unconnected from the other articles. Also I find it ironic that the 3 members whose discography articles are included are the 3 who have left the band, whilst the 2 who have not left do not have articles - this is not IMO a reason to oppose (unlike the first reason), but it adds to the disjointedness a little - rst20xx (talk) 18:48, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose for now It's a nice idea and, if the lead were more connected to the other articles and were FL status, I would support. However, I would say wait until Young Divas have released a bit more material. -- EA Swyer Talk Contributions 01:32, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- Close with no consensus to promote - rst20xx (talk) 16:00, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
