Discussion
[edit]Is this task going to be automated, supervised, or manual? What parameters are you using for interwiki.py? — madman 03:26, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Sometimes automatically:
interwiki.py -continue -autonomous -cleanup -async
, sometimes supervision, sometimes manually:interwiki.py -warnfile:logs/warning-wikipedia-en.log -lang:en -confirm

Which namespaces will you edit? — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 09:13, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I rarely edit the article, because I could not find an efficient command. may now be the mostly edit the interwiki link of categories.
- In addition, I have ran the entire template namespace of zh.wikipedia, there are many backlinks need to edit on en.wikipedia, but I do not fully understand the interwiki policies for template namespace, so I have not yet begun.--YFdyh000 (talk) 23:07, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- If you want to do templates, you need to understand them before you will get an approval. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 09:23, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Each edit on template namespace must be reviewed by the operator? Whether allows intermittent review?--YFdyh000 (talk) 10:33, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- You do not have to review every edit if you make sure the bot edits correctly. I didn't understand what you meant by "Whether allows intermittent review?" — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 10:37, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I do not understand WP:INTERWIKIBOT within the meaning of "supervised", is the requirement review for each edition, or only when they need to review. If you do not mandatory the review for each edition on template namespace, I think I can understand and do. --YFdyh000 (talk) 12:09, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- As far as I know, interwiki.py does enWiki templates OK. As long as you know what it is doing and why. Anyway, Approved for trial (30 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 12:14, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
