Vashteh (Persian: وشته)[3] is a village in Kenar Rud Rural District of Bala Taleqan District of Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 388 in 110 households, when it was in Bala Taleqan Rural District[a] of the former Taleqan District, Savojbolagh County of Tehran province.[4] In 2010, the county was separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province.[5] The district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County. The rural district was transferred to the new Bala Taleqan District and renamed Jovestan Rural District. Vashteh was transferred to Kenar Rud Rural District created in the new Bala Taleqan District.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 593 people in 207 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
