Speedy deletion of The Museum Pieces

[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Museum Pieces, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. i (talk) 21:55, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your subpage

[edit]

Hi, User:Wikitank/Notes is appearing in CAT:CSD to be deleted as a result of the template {{db|REASON}}. If you want to have just a link to the template, try using {{tl|db}} which will appear as {{db}}. That way it won't appear in the category. Alternatively, if you want to see the template you could substitute it and then remove the categories so it doesn't show up for deletion. Thanks, James086Talk | Email 08:50, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination OK?

[edit]

Hey I enjoyed your edits to British Sea Power and Pirate Radio USA. Is it okay to nominate you for admin? Meph456 (talk) 00:18, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. Sure. Wikitank (talk) 01:08, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent RfA

[edit]

I'm sorry, but I've closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you've only got 250 edits on Wikipedia; while edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards that they judge RfA candidates by, there was no chance that the RfA was going to pass.

I'm sorry about this, and hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I'm confident that you could possibly run a successful RfA in the future. You may want to consider submitting yourself to Wikipedia:Editor review for feedback on where to get some good experience, and when you're ready for RfA again, there's a great Wikipedia:Admin coaching program for you to use, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! EVula // talk // // 05:54, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
