Unblock
[edit]{{unblock|'''NOT BOT''' Reason why am I fast is that I copy and pasted line with two browser windows. 30sec per page is not speed of Robot but speed of fast human... Sorry for the mess I made.}}
- Hi V6g3h7, I've unblocked you. You know, I made a similar mistake a little while ago, when I was first starting out. I would suggest that, in future, you should probably discuss this in an article talk page, Village pump, or some other place where a lot of people e-congregate and make such proposals before making changes that affect a lot of articles. I hope this experience hasn't deterred you from making further contributions to Wikipedia. Thanks, Deathphoenix ʕ 14:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Your edits and block
[edit]Hi, I'm sorry I'm not an admin so I can't unblock you, but don't worry, I'm sure we'll get this sorted out. The admin who blocked you seems to have gone offline soon after he did the block. As for your edits, I've put up a question on the template talk page (Template talk:Infobox Country) about what the "common languages" field is actually supposed to be used for. In any case, introducing it empty was probably not a very good idea. Fut.Perf. ☼ 14:04, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- I have reverted your common lanaguages edit. This infobox is used by major articles. Please do not update this without discussion. - SimonLyall 15:21, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, V6g3h7, I only now notice it was actually you who introduced that field to the template, I thought you had been only adding it to the articles. I mean, there might actually be some merit in your idea. Feel free to raise the issue again on template talk, okay? Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:50, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
In the future, 1) please discuss changes to major templates, and 2) use edit summaries. I've reverted all your changes, this is a major enough template that discussion should be required before any such changes. Being bold is nice, so be bold and propose it - but adding it then trying to edit all 200+ articles that use it was a bit much. --Golbez 16:25, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry about that. I should have left a note after blocking you. I couldn't find any evidence changes to this template had been discussed, so I was worried about the speed with which you were editing the over 200 articles involved. (which is why I blocked before asking questions - to avoid more edits) If you had used edit summaries as Golbez suggested above, I might've found out you suggested the field to begin with. Please consider the above suggestion of raising suggestions to change major templates on the related talk pages and I'm sure blocks like mine won't happen again. - Mgm|(talk) 20:06, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
