If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of top govt. & private universities in INDIA. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of Indian engineering college rankings. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Indian engineering college rankings - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Lynch7 16:10, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The second image is the same as the one in the infobox but only differs in the angle, so please do not add same images. If you have images of the campus from the interior, then add them. —  Abhishek  Talk 16:51, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not constantly reinstate the image I removed. The image is redundant. Add images of different type to the article and not the same ones. If you continuously re-add them, you'll end up in an edit war. Please do not do so. —  Abhishek  Talk 10:10, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on I.E.T. M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Two reasons: Article already exists at Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly. Two, most parts are copyvios of various parts of [1]

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Your university article

[edit]

It would be best if you would rewrite the article in your own words, using a variety of sources not just the website. That will eliminate copyright concerns and it will be a better article. Try to find sources that are independent of the university, such as newspapers, journals or independent guidebooks to colleges and universities. Write the article in your sandbox, and ask for help from other editors such as myself. Add references, and perhaps some photos of the college that you or a friend can take. Then, when the article is in good shape, you can move it to main space. The Wikimedia Foundation is very interested in working with universities in India, especially when professors are using Wikipedia as a learning tool in the classroom.

I am a Wikipedia Online Ambassador. I just attended a conference in Boston on Wikipedia in Higher Education, and several professors from India were there. Please feel free to contact me. Cullen328 (talk) 14:25, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your last deleted page

[edit]

Hello, I am getting on a plane from Boston to San Francisco soon so my answer will be brief. Ask the administrator who deleted your article to userfy it for you. That means that you can work on improving the article in your own usespace, rather than Wikipedia main space. Learn more about your sandbox by clicking the blue link. A sandbox is an area where you can develop and improve an article before trying again to add it to the main part of Wikipedia. If you are working on this article as an assignment given by a professo.r, have the professor contact me. I will put the professor in touch with people at the Wikimedia Foundation who can offer some support services.

Start learning about how Wikipedia works by reading the Five pillars of Wikipedia, and click on the blue links to topics of interest that may be helpful. Feel free to ask me questions. You may also find some help at Wikiproject India. I know that things can be confusing here for newcomers. Please don't get discouraged, keep trying, and you will be successful. WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest

[edit]

Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.

As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.

If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.

You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:52, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
