Your account has been blocked indefinitely because the chosen username is a clear violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Current username was merely for humourous purposes. Regardless, a username change has been requested at http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Special:GlobalRenameRequest/status

Decline reason:

Clearly not. Humourous would imply it was funny. This clearly wasn't and you'll need to directly address that. Yamla (talk) 22:09, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings, Yamla. Hope this message finds you well.
A cursory analysis of the intricate set of social experiences that make up what we collectively refer to 'humour' suggests that there exists more than one overlapping set of ideas that can be found 'funny' by different set of people [1] As such, I am inclined to believe that something that has been found funny by enough individuals to warrant its own Know Your Meme page [2] does fall under the purview of what can generally be termed under 'humorous purposes.' It, therefore, appears to me that there exist things beyond your realm of experiences that may still be funny, despite your presentation of your respectable wikipedia administrator self as an authority in such matters, but don't let me burst your respectful little bubble.
However, with all due respect to your contributions to this website, I have not been able to find any qualifications which, to me, would suggest you hold the authority to gatekeep humour, or possess a basic sense thereof. This is especially clear when respectfully considering your stuck up attitude[3], which, to me, seems to argue the negative. It is, therefore, a kind request from me, presented respectfully, that you kindly deal with your overinflated ego, for, despite your hard work as and towards your position as a Wikipedia Administrator, it might not convert well into an off-the-screen life, assuming you have one.
Respectfully, Unabomber II (talk) 14:10, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I have requested a change of username.
