Why was this sandbox "raked"?

[edit]

What was wrong with this sandbox? Signed: Basemetal (write to me here) 17:03, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

i second the question. while we're at it, why was this user blocked? the block notice provides no explanation Lx 121 (talk) 12:11, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the sandbox, have you counted how many living persons were named in it? Were controversial statements made about any of them? Were those statements reliably sourced? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:43, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"regarding this sandbox" was this sandbox in the articlespace? or in userspace? would any reasonable person think that they were looking at an "official" wikipedi article? was the wmf liable for material one editor posted in their own userspace? Lx 121 (talk) 12:33, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
for that matter; having now gone back & skimmed over the sandbox's previous contents, as suggested by demiurge1000, i find that i am NOT of the impression that the main focus of the article is on making potentially-libelous statements about living persons. it's long, ranty nonsense, certainly; but the point is it's in USERSPACE, not an article; we allow a certain leeway in what users choose to do with their "own" pages. we also appky a broader definition of wp:not censored.
at the very least 3rd-party removal should have been done via proper process, not unilateral action. allowing that INVITES abuse.
i also (respectfully) object to the "busybody-ing" aspect of such unnecessary actions taken in other user's pagespace. Lx 121 (talk) 12:42, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
