Bot

[edit]

Hi! Regarding User:AlexNewArtBot/ANESearchResult, there had already been another new articles bot for the Ancient Near East (User:AlexNewArtBot/AncientNearEastSearchResult). Isn't it better to integrate them into a single one? Colchicum (talk) 17:34, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I saw it after I made the new one - there should be a history category, which would have made it easier to find. However, I would have made the new one anyway, because the old one includes Ancient Egypt, which the ANE project does not cover. Twofistedcoffeedrinker (talk) 17:41, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thank you for having an eye on this article. :) (The Hungarian relationship spam comes from time to time, as you can see in the revision history of that page...) --Thogo (Talk) 09:16, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

quation

Why do you insist on this [1] ? It is also pure Akkadian spelling of his name which has nothing to do with Biblical Hebrew name? I was just wondering. Iberieli (talk) 22:59, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because in English these kings are still traditionally called by their Biblical name, rather than a more accurate "Tukulti-apil-Esharra". Twofistedcoffeedrinker (talk) 23:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see, well thanks a lot. Iberieli (talk) 02:13, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
