Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Trainhead, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers and experienced editors alike:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Tikiwont (talk) 17:46, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I notice that you removed topically-relevant content from Robin Ficker. However, Wikipedia is not censored to remove content that might be considered objectionable. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hello, you appear to have a WP:COI regarding this article and your insistence on removing "heckler" from the article is being discussed at the WP:BLPN. Please review Wikipedia's policies on WP:RS and also the note that I posted at the talk page of the article. Thanks. Trainhead, I've restored the previous, long-term state of the Robin Ficker article, specifically including the term "heckler". This represents a consensus dating to the first edit of that page. I think I've made a very clear argument citing several Wikipedia policies to support my position. In my view you have advanced your position without reference to any supporting policy and with an apparent conflict of interest. I will again request that if you still disagree, make your case for change on the talk page, not by editing to the article. Work to change the consensus before you change the article. -- Pemilligan (talk) 00:22, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
