[edit]Hi there, do you have a clipping for the first reference on Gerald Brom? BOZ (talk) 13:03, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- That newspaper is not available on Newspapers.com :( But I found the archive [1] :D Timur9008 (talk) 13:32, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- OK, thanks, but are you sure that's the right one? The citation in the article is dated "August 4, 2002" with a title of "Gen Con offerings still magical" so that doesn't quite match the archived article, unless there was an error made in the citation itself? BOZ (talk) 21:03, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- Not sure. That's that article URL that was on that Enworld thread. [2] Timur9008 (talk) 21:07, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- I think that link in the ENWorld thread may have been for a different article from the one that Gygax posted in the thread. BOZ (talk) 21:09, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- Nevermind then. Timur9008 (talk) 21:10, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hello, Timur9008. Thank you for your work on Hunting Unlimited. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
The page is so short, and independent notability so questionable, that I think that it's best placed on the developers page. There's plenty of space for it there!

- @Klbrain: Hi! I believe there is just enough sources to warrant a page + to extract info from said sources. I find the merge strange. Timur9008 (talk) 16:05, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- There's nothing but routine reviews; it's a cheaply-made and cheaply-sold game that relied on the notability of Sunstorm Interactive's early games, like Deer Hunter (series). That page is too short to warrant splitting off stubs. The specific policy-based reasons for a merge are short text and context. Klbrain (talk) 17:47, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Klbrain: Fair enough. Although wouldn't merging to the SCS Software article would have been more correct since they were the main developer of the game? (although by the looks of it both them and Sunstorm developed the game) Timur9008 (talk) 18:00, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting; those 2001 references seem to point to Sunstorm Interactive, but perhaps after their collapse in 2003 the work was taken on by Sunstorm Interactive for later editions (Hunting Unlimited 2-4 and the later 'year' ones)? Might be a better target, particularly if they're more recent ... I'm very relaxed as to the target!
