Rating stars reply

[edit]

Thanks a lot for your interest in my little stars. I just thought they would look great in this kind of article. As there are certain publications that use 10 stars instead of 5... should we create them? What do you think? Regards, Luis María Benítez 28 June 2005 22:40 (UTC)

Thanks! I should have known that you were working on this because I have already created the same stars. They are slightly different: bigger size and color with some "effects" to make them unique. Here you have an example image:2hv_out_of_5.png (I don't know if you could see it right now because it takes time for the new one to be replaced) and here is the master image image:LMB_stars.png, of course this last one is to show my stars are original and that they were larger than the one I uploaded. If you want, next Monday I could upload the rest and replace all the existing ones. The more different they look to the ones present on other Internet sites, the better for us. Please, let me know. Regards, Luis María Benítez 22:32, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Great. I just uploaded all the images I created. I will make further work later on this. I've got to get away now. Too busy. Warm thanks for your input. Luis María Benítez 21:57, 17 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, please take a look at Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates/Manly_Beach and cast your vote :) (I don't mind if you oppose, just make sure it comes with reasons so I can improve for next time!) Enochlau 02:40, 17 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've redrawn the Copa Libertadores logo you uploaded from http://hqfl.dk (Image:LogodelaCopaLibertadores.JPG) and made a new PNG version of it (Image:Copa Toyota Libertadores.png), which is smaller in size, cleaner and has a higher resolution. Therefore I've listed the original JPEG version for deletion. Hope this is OK. Mysid (talk) 11:23, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

...for doing the related updates (table etc.) regarding the SFC-MV game. By the way, did you see it on FS2? Quite eventful... Oh, and if you wish, feel free to join us @ Wikiproject A-League. Cheers, Daniel.Bryant 11:15, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A-League Newsletter II, 2006

WikiProject A-League Newsletter
Issue II – September 2006
Current Player project status
10% complete
A-League News

Project News
  • The Player project has been moved, overhauled and refined. It now is not limited to the 2005-06 player list. However, only 10% of articles are considered "complete", and hopefully we can get this figure to approach 100% by the end of the season.
  • Major changes to the layout of the 2006-07 A-League season page have taken place recently, and an infobox created. A table for attendances, as well as top scorer etc. are now in place. All users are encouraged to update the scores for completed matches as they come in.
  • Recently, Perth Glory F.C. was moved to Perth Glory FC after no objections were raised at the Wikiproject talk page. All links to the old page (including various templates) were changed.
  • The project requires pictures of games and stadiums to help improve articles. Any pictures are much appreciated.
  • The A-League Portal has been set up. Feel free to update the scores, and make sure you check out the selected article and picture each fortnight.
  • The football (soccer) barnstar has recently became the official award of the Wikiproject. Feel free to hand it out to anyone you see making excellent contributions to all things A-League related.

Expansion of WP:A-League

[edit]

Hi Tiefighter,

Just thought I'd let you know there is currently a proposal to expand WikiProject A-League to include all areas of football/soccer in Australia, including the NSL, A-League, Socceroos, state leagues and more. A more formal proposal page can be found here. Please indicate whether you support the idea or not at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject A-League, and also add your 2c about what the new project should be called. Cheers! – AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 04:16, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the link you added for Sydney Explorer, should probably be for the Sydney central business district.

Actually, I think it might be a good idea to leave it as is. There is a link in there for Sydney and Australia

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
