Hi there! When you add to talk pages, be sure to end your comment with --~~~~ so other editors know who wrote it.

I've edited the Northridge Preparatory School article again. I made all ten sources into Wikipedia-style references; you can look at some of the things in "ref" tags to see the standard way to do it. I don't think anyone will be able to reasonably claim that the sources are bad. See Talk:Northridge Preparatory School.

The article on Northridge Preparatory School does seem now to be mostly information about how the school is a Opus Dei outfit with no accreditation or association with the normal Catholic school system. Of course, that's be because it's true and the less-than-stellar facts are the only reliable ones about Northridge Prep. If someone wants to provide other reliable and verifiable facts about NP, they can stand and deliver.

Some information about the 2 main editors who didn't seem to appreciate your edits so far — both of them have edited with no edit summaries or talk, and I've now warned both of them not to do no-comment article blanking:

  • 209.174.17.226 (talk · contribs · logs) is coming from (probably) a school somewhere up near Chicago on the Illinois Century Network, the state's shared Internet service for schools, but I can't determine which exact school. I don't know if Northridge Prep is on ICN or not. Someone vandalized a couple of articles about apostles on 2007-10-24 from this location also.
  • Nyquildriver76 (talk · contribs · logs) seems to be an insider at Northridge Prep and doesn't like negative talk about it. There's no way for normal editors to see whether Nyquildriver76 has done edits from the 209.174.17.226 school or not.

In addition, there's this editor:

  • 76.29.23.218 (talk · contribs · logs) is some Comcast customer somewhere around Morton Grove, Illinois. The edits from this IP address seem to contradict each other, including people making blanking parts of several articles, restoring the blanking, and making adolescent comments about each other and Northridge Prep. Probably some shared address with a lot of kids.

Hope all this helps. --Closeapple 08:59, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can warn the vandals using the templates given at WP:WARN. If they persist, you can report them to WP:AIV. It's a shared IP belonging to an ISP (Comcast), so it won't be appropriate to block the IP address without a warning. I've dropped a warning on User talk:76.29.23.218. If the vandalism continues, I'll block the user for a longer period. utcursch | talk 03:36, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for one week. You can report such users to WP:AIV -- the block will come much faster, since a lot of admin keep WP:AIV on their watchlist. utcursch | talk 13:37, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If the perp is home for the holidays, it is possible that his access from home has a different ISP than his access from school. The watchers of Lamborghini will have to be more vigilant, I guess. Respectfully, SamBlob (talk) 20:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
