Category:Dukes of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach
I believe that I would need administrator capabilities to delete a category. Once you delete the category links from the articles and the category remains unlinked, it will be deleted my administrators. Thank you for all of your work with the House of Wettin articles. I spent all yesterday fixing the "house" component of the royal infobox templates and adding appropriate categories as well as adding a few royal infoboxes. Today, I'm moving on the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha ;) --Caponer (talk) 14:13, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- OK. I add the infobox prior to the merge of the different royalty infoboxes. Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:11, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Proposed article
Hello! First let me be the fourh person to admire your user name :) and then let me congratulate you on a nice article called List of Hanoverian consorts! Anyway, I came to ask you for a favour: could you please create a List of Polish consorts? The current Queen consort of Poland "article" redirects to List of Polish monarchs article, which is not a good solution. I've seen that you do great job with tables. I've tried to make something on User:Surtsicna/List of Polish royal consorts, but failed. Wikipedia could really use such an article and I believe you can do it nicely. I'll help as much as I can, of course :) Surtsicna (talk) 14:15, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sure! I would be happy to since I am done with the List of Saxon consorts. Although I would like to include the consorts of the Dukes of the Polans. Even if they might be semi-legendary or not. I not sure I can find much of the coronation dates. Notice on my article List of Queens of Hungary, I didn't include coronation dates because I usually couldn't find them. Also do you think I should go beyond the Partitions of Poland? --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 19:59, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- One more thing. Feel free to proposed more List of consorts. Just make sure that their husband's has articles on English wikipedia because it is a bit hard reading German or Polish. Like the List of Saxon consorts, I am going nowhere with the wife of Ascanian Dukes of Saxony, Saxe-Wittenberg and Saxe-forgot the name, since English Wikipedia has no articles on them.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 20:08, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also do you want to redirect your sandbox to my so that we can keep you edits? --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 20:07, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Please do include consorts of the dukes - we can easily label them as legendary if neccessary. You can find coronation dates in Royal coronations in Poland. We can include consorts of the Kings of Galicia and Lodomeria and consorts of the rulers of the "Congress" Kingdom of Poland, just like the rulers of Poland after the partition are included in the List of Polish monarchs. You can edit my sandbox or move it to your sandbox - choose what suits you best! :) Surtsicna (talk) 20:23, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have always wonder about this. There is an Augustus II and Augustus III of Poland but who is Augustus I of Poland?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 20:45, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- I believe Sigismund II Augustus is considered Augustus I. Surtsicna (talk) 20:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- I notice that not all Polish monarch held the title of King and the title was not constant. For example Mieszko II Lambert was first King and later Duke of Poland. I am not sure if Bezprym, Otton, or Thiedric had spouses.

Bold dates make the table a bit harder to read, don't you think? Anyway, English is not my first language, so I have to relieve on Wikipedia and other web pages as dictionaries. When you type in accession, you get to an article right away, while ascension gets you to a disambiguation page. That's why I was unfamiliar with the latter expression ;) Surtsicna (talk) 07:33, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- I don;t know. Depends on what you like on the bolding, and spelling isn't my strong hand. So do you want it my way or your way with the bolding and the spelling? --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:57, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- List of English consorts, List of British consorts, List of Scottish consorts, List of French consorts, and other lists based on them don't use the bolding and ascension spelling, so I got used to that. Also, the word ascension is usually used to describe the Christian belief in rising of Jesus into heaven, so it could be a bit confusing :| Surtsicna (talk) 20:52, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ok. Finally finished the Piast dynasty section. I am totally unsure of most of the dates of Duchess who didn't have an article of English Wikipedia and just put question marks by them. I pretty much have them all down. I think. Check it. --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 06:53, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are there any dates on Polish Wikipedia's article about Polish consorts? Can you read Polish? I'll read if you can't - I'm Slavic and the words are very similar, though I won't be able to put the dates in the table. Surtsicna (talk) 13:25, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Now, I think that consorts of the rulers of puppet states should be described sparingly, just like rulers of these states are described in the List of Polish monarchs. After all, they weren't of Poland and shouldn't be treated like Polish consorts - after all, Poland was not even mentioned in their titles. What do you think? Surtsicna (talk) 18:35, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sure do as you please. I done with this article and I am taking a break from Wikipedia for while because of an illness so I wouldn't be editing for a while.Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 18:27, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Polish Queens of the House of Piast
I thought you might be intereseted in a key to identify all the women on this lithography. The resolution is not very good and it's hard to read all the captions, but it's easy to deduce which one is which. To read the gallery chronologically, start with the mib picture at the bottom, the only one showing a whole person – that's Dubravka, wife of Mieszko I. Then read the left, middle and right columns from bottom to top. So there goes:
Polish caption | English |

The gallery was published in Lemberg (Lviv) in 1851. Its author is Teofil Żychowicz, together with Michał Stachowicz (lithogapher). Keep in mind that this publication reflects the state of historical knowledge of mid-19th century and most, if not all, portraits are entirely imaginary, with costumes and coiffures from much later periods. Some pictures are mislabeled; even the whole thing has an imprecise title! It's neither queens (most of them were merely duchesses) nor of the House of Piast (all, except Elisabeth Richeza were married to Piasts, but they were not from that dynasty themselves). I hope this will be helpful in your project.
I see that user Mareczko has uploaded fragments of this publication to Commons claiming it's in public domain. The website where I found it claims copyright by Biblioteka Narodowa (National Library). I don't which claim is correct. Please let me know, if you need help contacting Mareczko; he might not speak English. — Kpalion(talk) 23:00, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Queen consorts of Sicily
Hello, Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy, I have been looking at some articles that you have created, I think one should be made for the Queen consorts of Sicily. I have tried creating a similar article, List of Aragonese Royal Consorts, but I find it hard using a wiki table, so I thought you may be able to create Queen consorts of Sicily, seeing your work on List of Polish consorts and List of Hungarian consorts. Keep up the good work!--Daaviiid (talk) 17:36, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Duchess of Bavaria
Hello Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy, I see you are busy. I would like to thank you for improving aragonese consorts and castilian consorts. I was wondering if you could create a page for the duchesses of bavaria? If you get a chance. Also, well done with the sicillian consorts, it looks great. --Daaviiid (talk) 15:36, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
