Phineas and Ferb eppisode articles
[edit]Hi, I see you have been making articles for various Phineas and Ferb episodes. Articles generally need to be Notable to have an article on the subject. If you look at the Reception section of some of the existing articles like Rollercoaster (Phineas and Ferb), Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together, and Phineas and Ferb Get Busted, you will see they have sections on reception. This is where people talk about the episode, either saying it was a great hit and had a good message, or criticizing it, or something. These need to be referenced by Reliable Sources. Just letting you know this before someone notices your articles and starts redirecting them to Phineas and Ferb. Blake (Talk·Edits) 13:24, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article The Simpsons (season 21), please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Not In My House
[edit]A tag has been placed on Not In My House requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Klaus and Greta, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.tvguide.com/detail/tv-show.aspx?tvobjectid=281135&more=ucepisodelist&episodeid=13784969. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:43, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Simpsons episode ratings
[edit]If you are going to post ratins for episodes of The Simpsons, could you at least do it properly rather than doing it as quickly as possible. For example, in "Today I Am a Clown", you added: "The episode got a 18-49 rating of 6.1/9". [1] Only people who are very familiar with ratings would actually understand it. A much clearer way to put it would be: "In it's original American airing, the episode got a 6.1 Nielsen rating in the 18-49 demographic, as well as a 9% share of the audience. It finished second in it's timeslot." And then add a reliable source, because the Simpsons Channel, as a fan site, is not useable. Expanding episode articles is good, but in the future, please take the time to do it right so that more users can understand it. Also, if you are going to add awards nominations, could you please source it? You can find awards sources here: List of awards won by The Simpsons, the citations are already fully written out, and you can copy and paste them. Thanks, Scorpion0422 00:43, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Please don't add overly long quotes to articles, as you did with The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special – In 3-D! On Ice!. They are a violation of WP:Non-free content. Theleftorium 15:08, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Modern Family (season 1)
[edit]I have nominated Modern Family (season 1), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Modern Family (season 1). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 00:53, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Modern Family episode pages
[edit]Please start using correctly formatted citations for websites. Additionally, by simply copy-pasting the advertising blurb for the episodes from other websites, you are violating copyright, even if providing a link to the a source. These types of TV-guide websites are often given copyrighted material for advertising purposes. Copying the entirety of someone else's copyright is prohibited as well as against Wikipedia rules. If you're just creating the pages to throw something on Wikipedia, then at least throw something in your own words. Pejorative.majeure (talk) 02:14, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of The Birth (The Office)
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is The Birth (The Office). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Birth (The Office). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Copyright warning: List of Modern Family episodes
[edit]Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Theleftorium 10:05, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
- I have also marked the plot section of My Funky Valentine as a copyvio; Some sentences are copied directly from the source, such as "Phil and Claire break from their traditional Valentine's Day dinner date and plan a little 'role play' excursion". The essay Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing contains some suggestions for rewriting that may help avoid these issues. The article Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2009-04-13/Dispatches, while about plagiarism rather than copyright concerns, also contains some suggestions for reusing material from sources that may be helpful, beginning under "Avoiding plagiarism". [edit]Hi. I note that you recently copied material from Sons of Tucson to the article Sons of Tucson (pilot), and I just wanted to drop you a note to point out a few things about the procedure. As Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia sets out, when we duplicate material, we have to provide a direct link to the source article. This is necessary because Wikipedia's contributors do not release their material into public domain, but retain rights to authorship under the terms of our licenses, CC-By-SA and GFDL. This wikilink satisfies that requirement by allowing readers to access the history and see who contributed what and when. Usually, we put into the edit summary something along the lines of "Copied from Sons of Tucson". Then, we note the reuse as well in an edit summary at the source article. That would read like "Material copied to Sons of Tucson (pilot)", in this case. This helps make sure that the article is not later deleted, as it cannot be as long as the article to which the material has been copied remains. We also have an optional template for the talk pages of both articles at {{Copied}} (instructions for using it found there). I have fixed the problems with this article, but I wanted to let you know for future use. If you have copied material from other articles, please be sure to make proper note of that. Thanks, and if you have any questions about this, please feel free to leave a line at my talk page. Theleftorium 20:13, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:43, 25 February 2010 (UTC)- In spite of your prior block, you are continuing to violate Wikipedia's copyright policy. I do not believe you should be unblocked without some credible assertion that you understand and will comply with this policy. You must not import any text you find anywhere else unless it is verifiably public domain or licensed compatibly for our use. While you may use brief excerpts in plainly marked quotations, you cannot copy wholesale plot summaries or other text from other sources. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:45, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Sockpuppet accounts blocked
[edit]I have blocked several of your sockpuppets tonight. Please understand that it is not acceptable to just make a new account and start editing away when your other account is blocked for violations of site policy. Should you wish to return, first you must completely sit out for at least one month - no other accounts, no editing from IP addresses, no editing at all. Then, if you can (1) find yourself a mentor and (2) undertake to follow Wikipedia editing rules, in particular copyright rules, and avoid edit warring, an unblock can be considered. A tag has been placed on Template:Infobox Modern Family season one episode list requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>
).
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
