I don't see the need for a separate entry for his 2000AD work and have proposed putting the information back into the main entry. (Emperor 21:06, 31 May 2006 (UTC))
- That entry has been put up for deletion so make sure you have your say too so a balanced judgement can be reached. I should take the opportunity to thank you for your contributions - they have been very useful. However, there are often ongoing efforts to improve pages and jumping straight in can result in changes that might have to be reversed. If you check the talk pages for Garth Ennis (and Alan Moore) you'll see me throwing in some thoughts on cleaning up the bibliographies and some of your changes run counter to this. If you have ideas for major reorganisations then it might be best to throw them in for discussion so we can plot the best course of action. Of course there is a balance between being bold and achieving a consensus to reduce wasted efforts it just takes time to get into the swing of it - I just wanted to note the overwhelmingly positive efforts and show a few ways to improve things (if that makes sense). (Emperor 02:31, 1 June 2006 (UTC))
I'm sorry, the truth is, I haven't really figured out how the talk section works; I tried to check something which was said previously and it told me that the comment didn't exist ... so I haven't even seen any of the talk section (I did see one in the Woody Allen section, but the talk section was so crazy and threaded I couldn't take it). I do apologize, I've just been putting in some time while bored at work about stuff that I'd like to have definite information on ... I didn't realize I was making waves, I am sorry. Will fall back and look at what has been said. ThatGuamGuy 04:00, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Sean (TGG)
Hey, Emperor ... what's the policy on spoilers? I went into Hitman a few weeks ago and added all the issues which hadn't been collected yet. I was planning on going back and actually describing each arc, but I wasn't sure how in depth I was supposed to get with regard to spoilers ... especially when somebody dies. The thing is, it's difficult to describe subsequent issues without sorta spoiling that kind of thing anyway. You seem to know what you're doing, so I thought maybe you could advise me on that sort of thing.
ThatGuamGuy 23:22, 3 June 2006 (UTC)sean
- I can't really answer, but if you want an answer from Emperor, you should post it to his talk page. That way he'll be notified, since he may not think to check your specific talk page. By the way, excellent edit to Futurama; that article is quickly infesting with fancruft. Haakon 20:51, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Wikiproject Proposal
[edit]Hi, I am posting this message to everyone who has edited on animal rights or animal welfare related articles in the last couple of months. I have just created a proposal for a WikiProject to help co-ordinate editors on the many articles under the mentioned subjects. If you would like to find out about it or show your support for such a project, please visit User:Localzuk/Animal Rights Proposal and Wikipedia:WikiProject/List of proposed projects#WikiProject Animal Rights and Welfare. The Wire again
[edit]Hey again. Just read an edit summary where you were tidying up British spelling. You guessed correctly, I am indeed British and use original English spelling when I write. Glad to see its not just me working against merging the episode articles. Thank you for trimming the plot summaries, I originally wrote most of the ones I added as a personal resource so they are usually overlong.--Opark 77 10:46, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't have such thorough summaries to work from. I try to simplify, even if it winds up slightly bending chronology, just in the interest of keeping things clear. I think that we (hopefully with the help of a few others) can make these articles worth keeping individualized.
- Also, seperately, speaking as a writer and would-be director, I am appalled by the idea that individual episodes are not automatically considered acheivements. Directing an hour-long television episode is just as difficult as directing a two-hour movie, and usually the time constraints are greater. ThatGuamGuy 17:18, 11 October 2007 (UTC)sean
The article Lords of the Razor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced article, no reason to believe this book is notable by our standards.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Drmies (talk) 04:21, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
