[edit]Hello Swimnteach,
I don't know if this is possible, but the title the article was supposed to just be "bthebusinessnetwork" not "bthebusinessnetwork.com" and we are unable to re-title it, is there a way to change it? Also I see that the bthebusinessnetwork logo is on wikipedia but its fairly large, is it possible to make it smaller on wikipedia, or should I upload a different file?
Thanks again for your help,
Please also let me know how I can add more information without sounding promotional. Thank you!

Hello Swimnteach. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Vuclip, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Thank you. NW (Talk) 02:41, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Cat Jahnke page
[edit]I just created the page and will be adding sourced information soon.
I am in personal contact with Miss Jahnke and she will supply me with official, documented, sourced material in the very near future. The information currently on the page and in the Infobox are from her Facebook page, which I can add as a reference, if you see fit.
Please know that I'm well aware of Wikipedia's policies and have been a successful contributor for some time. Please don't delete the page because sourced information WILL be coming soon.
Thanks.

CSD at Shad benton
[edit]At Shad Benton you marked it as G3, which is pure vandalism. I have disagreed and changed it to A7. 43?9enter (talk) 02:50, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
From the userpage warn.
[edit]I removed my own report because it was on a user which hadn't edited since 2006 and I didn't know that when I entered the report, if I removed another person's report, it was an accident. --Macbookair3140 14:34, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
Try checking the history of something before you go deleting it or adding a deletion tag - it has already been approved and is very frustrating when someone like you comes along on his high horse

Deletion of Page: Drinkin' Duck
[edit]Hello Swimnteach!
I'm a new user of Wikipedia, and I would like to contribute an article. I recently had my first article deleted for "unambiguous advertisement". While I realize that I was writing about a product that has not been released in the United States yet, I did request help to make such an entry encyclopedic under the "discussion" tab. Instead of receiving feedback, I simply had my page deleted by others - I feel that I have not learned anything from this experience, and I would like your help.
I'm not necessarily contesting the deletion. Rather, I would like to know how to objectively write about products or companies. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hello Swimnteach. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Pctipsbox, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: an award is enough to not qualify for A7. Thank you. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 21:13, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
Hello Swimnteach, thank you for getting back to me so quickly! Unfortunately I haven't had much time, so my response is a little slow.
I believe I need help in writing an unbiased article. What should I be looking for? As much of my training has been persuasive writing, I'm not sure how to write an objective piece.
Also, I'm facing difficulties in finding reliable third-party sources. As I've mentioned before, the topic of interest hasn't been produced yet, which means that it's hard to find sources. Should I maybe wait until sources are published? Thanks in advance!

Aunt Carrie's
[edit]I appreciate your work but two things. If someone is simply saving because between a not working well wifi connection and something I can't quite figure out that causes wiki to lose my edits when I swi between the wiki screen and the sources' screens, I save every few minutes. If I say I am off to look for more sources and to expand the article, then be reasonable and give me a while to get the article to where it should be. It is so unreasonable to expect a wki worthy article to be written within the first five or ten minutes of writing it.
Second, before you claim something is not notable, do due diligence. I had already sourced the James Beard Award. If you took the time to look at their linked wiki page and the external sources you would have seen how important that award is. I think this sums it up best. "According to the James Beard Foundation, “the Beard Awards are the highest honor for food and beverage professionals working in North America. The awards are presented each spring at Lincoln Center. Nominees and winners are feted at a weekend of events in New York City that has become the social and gastronomic highlight of the year.”"[1]
But you just db'd without bothering to learn that. Even though I prov other sources. Postcard Cathy (talk)
