It is easy

[edit]
File:Wp sw harry 800.jpg
Star Wands

Hello, nice to meet you, and thanks for giving me an opportunity to answer your question. First you have to upload the picture. The picture you want to upload should be already in your computer. Now, on the left side, below the box Go, you shall find a link “upload a file”. You have to click that, and a page shall appear. There, you have to select the picture you want to load, and then also select its copyright status. Then you are ready to upload that picture file. After you have finished uploading the picture, you may add the picture known as an image to a page where you want to use it. You have to copy the name of the picture on the page where you want it. Say picture name is ABC you have to place this as ABC and it should be closed with a brackets like [[ ]] . You may wish to resize the picture and place it on the left / right etc. I will tell more once you upload a picture, and let me know the name. Please do not upload picture unless you have the copyright or you are free that it does not attract copyright. Hoping to see some pictures uploaded by you! In case, you are not able to do that, please tell me – I will again explain to you. Thanks. --Bhadani 16:59, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please see how I added the picture loaded by you. You have to tell now the copyright on the picture page. Now, get going - you shall learn very fast. --Bhadani 17:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps the picture you have loaded is copyrighted - then it may be deleted by an administrator. Anyway, you may upload more pictures, and pictures free from the copyright. Please feel free to tell me anything you wish to tell.
I am not sure of the copyright - it may be a free picture also. --Bhadani 17:08, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is fine. Have a nice time here, and feel free to tell me anything. By changing px. you shall be able to change the size of the picture. Have a nice time. --Bhadani 17:17, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sure

[edit]

Yes, sure. I will do it here again step by step. --Bhadani 17:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please see and listen

The full name of image is Image:Wp sw harry 800.jpg which you have to first right on your user page - you may copy and paste.

Then put it within [[ ]] like this File:Wp sw harry 800.jpg - now see full picture has come. --Bhadani 17:37, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Using color

[edit]

Don't use color! It makes communications more difficult by distracting the article reader too much. Look at the best articles put on the front page. Do they use color? No! However, if you absolutely want to use color on your personal page or this discussion page of your personal page, then go take a look at: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Help:HTML_in_wikitext And there are other pages in the Wikimedia software section giving you more details on what colors are possible or not. --AlainV 22:40, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Stevietwotwo, it is right. Colors should be used on the personal pages only. Yesterday, I could not reply you as I had logged off. You are most welcome to talk to me anything relating to wikipedia. In case, you wish so, you may give more information about you and your interests on your user page. Hoping to see yuou again soon. --Bhadani 11:52, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Model.php_2.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Model.php_2.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:33, 25 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 21:33, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Star_Wands.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Star_Wands.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
