I am Jennifer Lorraine Nielsen of Kansas City, Missouri. I was born 12th June, 1985. My first cousin is Adam Entwistle, son of Maurice Entwistle Jr (son of Maurice S. Entwistle - Entwistle Sr.) I am Native American (about 1/4 Lakota).

I appreciate all and any (civil) feedback! If I come off as "abrasive" in a discussion, apologies -- I am opinionated but open minded (and also mostly new here and still learning)! I appreciate the editing community and want to contribute as a team player.

So as to keep the page fresh and discussion relevant, I will clear it periodically of older messages (although you are free to peruse the older versions!)

Black Sun

[edit]

Greetings. Just wanted to let you know that although I came out pretty strongly against your proposed move, it wasn't from any hostility toward Jungians, alchemists, or neo-pagans. I tend to keep my hostility toward Jungians off Wikipedia ;-) The community generally takes a hard line against anything that seems like advocacy or promotion. Ultimately I think the issue came down to which name is in the most common use.

Anyway, your point about the black sun also being one of the suns in alchemy was a valid one. I've started a new RM to address this. You're welcome to participate if you like. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 22:50, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Abelard question

[edit]

Terrific work on Peter Abelard. In cleaning up a citation I noticed this revision of yours which removed most of the historical overview of skeptics, and I just wondered why. It seems a possible line of research someone might be taking in seeking out the article. But since I only saw the article today while you know it well I wanted to ask if there's a reason to leave it out. SamuelRiv (talk) 03:30, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
