I think you should try for bot approval. Not only do I think that bots need approved to check they're not overloading the servers, I think if you extended the coding with something that could people up to date on deletions they're involved in (in separate nominated, commented, closed sections) I think you'd have a very useful tool for a lot of editors. After some time, it becomes impossible to check what you nominated and commented on and when. A nice list like the one your bot provides would help keep track of all of that. - Mgm|(talk) 11:27, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm developing an alternative to SxWiki, and it would be good to have a look at the code you use to run basic SxWiki commands. The idea is to generally make things "simple" for the first time user, and to make the code and documentation easily editable through on-wiki pages. Would you mind? Cheers. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 18:52, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not sure notifying people of every close of discussions they started is a good idea. Particularly active contributors would get spammed with multiple messages and more importantly, you'd make a LOT of edits a minute. I would limit the updates to ones on subpages and one a day (telling the subpage was updated) on talk pages to keep the edit count down. - Mgm|(talk) 09:58, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

The Smithsonian American Art Museum will be having a Wikipedia Loves Art! meetup on Friday, February 27 from 5-7 pm in the Kogod Courtyard. Come share your experiences, meet the other teams, and take some photos! While RSVPing isn't necessary drop Jeff Gates an email if you're planning on attending so he can get a head count: gatesj (at) si.edu. (Note: The SAAM is located in between Metro Center and Gallery Place (closer to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro), and is convenient to all 5 metro lines.) ⇒SWATJester Son of the Defender 17:05, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
An editor that I am somewhat suspicious of has edited this page, changing a number. If it is a malicious edit, you might want to revert. Brianyoumans (talk) 20:54, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
rhetoric!
Thanks for adding to the slim rhetoric offerings! Since you have more seniority than me, why not revert the Genre Criticism page back to something like its original version, and eliminate the warnings from the Ideological Criticism page?Jeangoodwin (talk) 13:08, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
