RL Crowds

[edit]

I would say very much the opposite.<small><span style="border:1px solid black;padding:1px;"><font style="color:#fef;background:red;">Londo</font><font style="color:white;background:black;">06</font></span></small> 21:01, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yet, they do watch the games, and as such are very much a part of the North Queensland Cowboys season, and do belong on the page. As my previous note it is a standard across all sports, eg Brisbane Broncos 2008 that the crowds be listed.<small><span style="border:1px solid black;padding:1px;"><font style="color:#fef;background:red;">Londo</font><font style="color:white;background:black;">06</font></span></small> 11:52, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Added in the crowd figures from the last game with a cited source.<small><span style="border:1px solid black;padding:1px;"><font style="color:#fef;background:red;">Londo</font><font style="color:white;background:black;">06</font></span></small> 13:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Ben Harris 2006.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Westernredslogo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Westernredslogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:28, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Important vote at wiki-project rugby league

Infobox update

[edit]

Hi - would you mind removing the |new = yes part of the infobox once you have updated it and on the ones you have just updated? Also if you could remove the blank lines between the end of the infox, after the }}, and the start of the text, that'd be a great help too! See here for relevant discussion. Cheers! An article you created maybe deleted soon: Tools which can help you

[edit]

The article you created: The Mission Singles may be deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster you respond on this page, the better chance the article you created can be saved.

Finding sources which mention the topic of your article is the very best way to avoid an article being deleted {{Findsources3}}:

Find sources for The Mission Singles: google news recent, google news old, google books, google scholar, NYT recent, NYT old, a9, msbooks, msacademic ...You can then cite these results in the Article for deletion discussion.

Also, there are several tools and helpful editors on Wikipedia who can help you:

1. List the page on Article Rescue Squadron. You can get help listing your page on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
2. At any time, you can ask any administrator to move your article to a special page. (Called userfication)
3. You can request a mentor to help you: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond to you before responding on the article for deletion page.
4. When trying to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. These acronyms don't need to intimidate you. Here is a list of acronyms you can use yourself: Deletion debate acronyms, which will help you argue that the article should be kept.

If your page is deleted, you also have many options available. Good luck! Ikip (talk) 20:45, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Steve Price (Queensland) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced (for 2 years!) biographical article that fails to assert notability of the subject.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Ssiww! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

A tag has been placed on File:Geofflawson pak.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
