A tag has been placed on Emhs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Emhs. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Daniel J. Leivick 22:35, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MHS

[edit]

Did the school pay you or something to add to the MHS article? Either way, I don't think you're supposed to express your own opinion in an encyclopedia article. It's unprofessional. Sam 00:44, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm an unpaid volunteer with two juniors (wait, now seniors) at the school. My prolixity comes from a diahrrea-like typing profundity, plus being an A+++ personality former career gal & stay-at-home mom tends to make me express myself like this. You should have seen when I used to volunteer daily at the school. Now I limit myself, but still do hospital volunteer work. I apologize for adding my own sentiment. I'm new to editing Wiki. I'll adjust & update. Okay to do that tomorrow afternoon, as I'm supposed to start dinner. Sonial1t6 05:46, 4 July 2007 (UTC)sonia, originally written July 1, 2007[reply]

It's fine. Other than the opinion your contributions to the MHS article were informative. I didn't even know why the yearbook had Aquarius on it! Sam 00:44, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Well why is Aquarius on the yearbook? Why isn't it mentioned in the MHS article? Marshmallow00 23:56, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel, pls let me know whether I neutralized my cheerleader tendencies with my latest modifications. sonia July 2, 2007

Santa Monica High School

[edit]

I have declined to delete this article. The tag you place, db-spam, is appropriate only if the article as a whole is so much like an advertisement that no reasonable amount ofediting witll fix it, and this is clearly not the case. For a section written too much like an ad, the remedy is to edit it. The music department section is spammy, and I edited out some of the worst of it just now. Orphaned non-free media (Image:MHS shark.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MHS shark.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:39, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
