Your Recent Edits on the Louis Bleriot Page
[edit]I have no connection to Rivendell Bicycles. I put this insertion up for review. No one complained. The Rivendell Bleriot is a very nice homage to the man, with a very cool picture of him on the seat tube decal. If you wish to propose removing the section again, please feel free to open the matter up for further discussion. If you randomly delete it again, I will just undo your edit. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Crocodile (2000 film), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. In the future, try to resist. Prokofiev No. 2
[edit]Dear Soczyczi, since you commented favourably on Piano Concerto No. 2 (Prokofiev), you may be concerned that User:Alton feels obliged to delete a lot of the material: http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Piano_Concerto_No._2_%28Prokofiev%29&diff=199309321&oldid=192268038 . (P.S. I thought De Vriendt kehrt heim excellent, though I know next to nothing else of Jacob Israël de Haan.) PJTraill (talk) 02:20, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Ermine Street
[edit]Hi, On the Ermine Street page, you've added that "Armingford', 'Arrington' and 'Ermine Street' are names that share the same Old English origin". Did you mean Ermin Street/Way? Rojomoke (talk) 10:50, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Couperus and Wilde
[edit]Dear Soczyczi, According to Couperus' biographer the late F.L. Bastet, Couperus may have met Wilde in England, as you mentioned on the discussion page. Just as a matter of interest, what did the two eminent men of letters discuss, if anything? When Wilde met Proust in France, the two literary dandies merely stared at one another ... I also added a comment to the discussion page about a worrying trend, perhaps you'd care to glance at it. Isn't it funny that neither the Dutch nor the English article on Couperus mentions his remarkable style of writing? I recently re-read "De Stille Kracht" and "Metamorfoze", and was struck by his unique vocabulary and syntax on practically every page. Incidentally, your quip about Crocodile (2000) was spot on. All of my tropical colleagues here appreciated it, which may develop into a cult following. The most amusing offbeat comment ever published on the English wikipedia is surely the one about fortune cookies, though (the last paragraph of "Customs" on the Fortune Cookie Talk page, signed by a Russian). Best wishes and keep up the good work, Frankly speaking (talk) 07:02, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for making me laugh, even if it's more than two years ago since I last visited this talk page. Glatisant (formerly User Soczyczi) (talk) 01:29, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

The article Megalister has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Stubbish, poorly sourced dicdef. The one source listed does not verify the content, and I can find nothing suitable either.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Reyk YO! 09:05, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
