Wife-sister Talk

[edit]

Happy to see your proposal on the article Talk. Look again at how it is placed. Does it belong (logically) under that heading? If so, then indent each paragraph with a colon : If not, then insert a heading for your proposal. Thanks! ProfGray (talk) 15:14, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Trible

[edit]

SL -- Your paraphrase is good. But it reads too much like a description of the story, rather than a description of Trible's argument. After all, if then reader wants to know about Trible's book (her ideas, analysis, method, claims) then you probably don't want to focus much on the bible story per se. I think you need to add Trible into the text more, and help the reader see where Trible is making points (that aren't the plain meaning of the text).

Your 2nd para -- is that only a synopsis? Where is Trible contributing here?

Your 3rd para -- "Overall, this story is a representation of the violence that was allowed toward women." -- This is written as neutral view rather than as presenting Trible's POV, right?
