Welcome!
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Simplified Manual of Style
- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Speedy deletion nomination of File:Rottyful Sky.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Rottyful Sky.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Unfortunately, we will not be able to retain the above noted article in the encyclopedia, due to lack of notability established in accordance with the guidelines for music. Additionally, we do not allow citations sourced to YouTube, or merchandising website like iTunes or Amazon. In order to establish notability, we require significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Outside of redirecting the article to that of the artist, our only option at this point is outright deletion. This option holds true for the other music articles you have created as well. Between redirecting and deletion, which option do you prefer? Happy to go either way. Just let me know. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line anytime. Cindy(talk) 17:57, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- Shujan - I don't see how either No Way (Rottyful Sky song) or Get Away (Rottyful Sky song) meet notability requirements. Cindy explained it well in her message to you about what does and doesn't constitute a reliable source to establish notability. Most of the sources you are providing are just informational and don't explain what makes it important. You are on the right track this one, but even that one only says she performed the song at this showcase to promote it and, unfortunately, just singing the song doesn't make it notable. I suggest merging the most basic information from both articles into the Rottyful Sky article and redirect the articles there as was attempted previously. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 20:07, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
I dont understand. Singer of cos is to performing in music show. what etc they can do? For singer they only attend music show and get top chart that all. There nothing more i can drag out as all are music show. what etc u want me to drag out? video? it already listed in Mnet. wikipedia is a encyclopedia, isnt you guys should record down everything? u dont expect singer pass away and than start to list down their history?? I use to search wikipedia for history, i guess i am wrong. Because all info are subjection selected. BTW not all singer are like MJ that is so notable. Diff country had their own way of notable. The standard that you make are more likely for singer like MJ, by the time he make it that high.. history data already lose half way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shujuan5210 (talk • contribs) 20:55, 6 December 2013
- Please see WP:NSONG which concerns the notability of individual songs. When writing about a song, good things to include would include: critical reception; awards won; reaching no. 1 on major charts - but always with references. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:10, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
ya like what i say by the time u already lost half of the history data. That kind of notable dont grow overnight.
- Here's what I recommend: move the articles to your userspace [ie. User:Shujuan5210/No Way (Rottyful Sky song) and User:Shujuan5210/Get Away (Rottyful Sky song)] and complete the articles as much as you can and after adding some reliable sources. Perhaps you can find someone who will help you with that and assess if they are ready for publication to Wikipedia mainspace. You can place {{Help me}} (include the curly brackets) with your question on your talk page and someone will respond and hopefully lead you in the right direction. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:38, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
i manger to find her sale in chart. but if u still want to del than just do it.. i moving out of wikipedia as this is not a place to record history BUT TO SELECTED POST on history. I just follow what other article posted and key in what should be but i see some are allow while you keep picking on my article or PICK on me. I saw other article they are also posting the roughly news as i do. I dunno why is still exiting?
- I want to recommend a few things to you. First, sign your posts to talk pages with four tildes. When you add these symbols following your comments, the software system will automatically add your signature. We need to know who is writing what. Secondly, nobody is against you here. We are more than willing to work with you, as shown by the numerous posts on your talk page. If nobody cared, nobody would be here. That said... Thirdly, you need to learn to work with others well if you are going to participate in creating and maintaining articles on Wikipedia. The project is a collaborative one. This means that all of use work together to create and present the best possible outcome. We work together through a a shared set of parameters. An example of these parameters is the notability guidelines. Fourth, you're shooting yourself in the foot if you are creating one article based on another Poor articles exist throughout the encyclopedia. One poor article does not justify another one. Fifth, I have spent some time copy editing and cleaning up the No Way (Rottyful Sky song) article. Based on charting on the national South Korean music charts, notability has now been established. Sixth, have you gotten around to reading any of the links to the guidelines that several editors have offered? If not, please do it before creating any further articles. If you have questions, feel free to drop me a line. I am more than happy to help. Best regards, Cindy(talk) 15:27, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I see you've restored an earlier version of the article that does not comply with the Manual of Style or community guidelines. Failing to respond, then reverting edits and improvements to articles is referred to as edit warring and can actually result in a suspension or blocking of your editing privileges. This is a bit disheartening, when I chose to actually jump in and help you with your article this morning. I need to know what is troubling you here. What is the next course of action that you prefer? I see at one point, you blanked the content and requested deletion. Is that what you wish? Do you wish to retain the article? As stated above, notability has been established. That said, it is important that Wikipedia articles conform to a consistent set of style standards, of which this article does not now met. Again, do you wish to retain the article? Do you wish to engage in an edit war? Note that I'm not interested. If you wish to continue this course of action, I will be led to make an incident report. Nobody wants that. In all honesty, I would rather work with you. How do you wish to proceed? Cindy(talk) 15:54, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
my apology. well i had restore it to the version that you last edit. Seen article had notability and has been established. i will retain the article.

Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:46, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from No Way (Rottyful Sky song). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Additionally, it is important that you refrain from removing "in use" templates when others are working on the same article. This helps to avoid edit conflicts. If you have questions, please ask. Cindy(talk) 15:06, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to No Way (Rottyful Sky song), please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Cindy(talk) 00:35, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- OK tell me how u want to link the video? all are found in you tube as their upload it on their official you tube channel. If i dont use search the ref link will be huge and long, that make the whole page kindly ugly. Sorry dont understand, so is one video 1 official link? or one video one official channel you tube link?Shujuan5210 (talk) 11:23, 8 December 2013 (UTC)--Shujuan5210 (talk) 11:23, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- In order to maintain continuity, I've moved your question about the above warning here. Please do not continue to post in various different places. My question for you: Did you read any of the information posted in the warning above? Did you actually go to any of the guidelines offered by myself and other editors? Did you read them? If not, I need to know why. You are continuing to ask the same questions, all of which I have explained several times and are also readily answered in the guidelines. It comes to a point where you actually have to show competence in order to constructively edit the encyclopedia. Competence is required. Note AGAIN that many of these Youtube videos have been uploaded by others in violation of copyright law. YOU CANNOT ADD THEM TO THE ARTICLE. If you can show links to videos that have been uploaded by the copyright holder or his/her representative and that support the article content, post these links on the article talk page. DO NOT CONTINUE ADDING THEM TO THE ARTICLE. Again, you CANNOT add links to a mere search engine of videos. This is a violation of Wikipedia policy and may result in a block of your account. If your account is blocked, you will no longer be able to edit Wikipedia until you can convince us that you understand what you are doing wrong and you are able to demonstrate that you understand the expectations and will not violate policy further. Again, if you can show links to videos that have been uploaded by the copyright holder or his/her representative and that support the article content, post these links on the article talk page. I will then take a look at them to determine if they meet the requirements for inclusion. Cindy(talk) 15:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, of course i did read but i may no understand what you really want. Like you say it just a guidelines but never detail stated what it want. Guideline is still a guideline. Disambiguation link notification for February 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lee Yoo-ri, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages SBS and Guest (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
