Sourcing at Micronation

[edit]

I have reverted your latest edit at Micronation because the need for a better source is to support all of the sentence, i.e., Aynvaul [is] an Irish-American and Irish language revival micronation based in or around Long Island, New York. Do not remove maintenance templates until the problem has been resolved, or it is agreed that the problem no longer exists. - Donald Albury 16:07, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will add that the claim that you are using Aynvaul (and Kingdom of Ruritania) for, Other claimed micronations may fit more into a cultural category were territorial claims are not as easily defined such as Aynvaul ... and the Atlanta, Georgia based Kingdom of Ruritania., needs citations to sources that support how they fit more into a cultural category. This means that you will need to find reliable sources that describe those two micronations that way. Without such sources, this looks like original research, which is not allowed in Wikipedia, and will be removed if reliable sources are not cited. - Donald Albury 17:47, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ah I see, how would I better use the springer source for a partial reference? For in the case of say springer, (a source that claims it[aynvaul] exists in the united states), would a better sentence be: "...Aynvaul, a micronation in the United States<springer reference here>, ..." and then have better sources at the end that support the full sentence? I can't find any one source that supports the claim for both, but I can come across sources for them individually with more variety for the latter one. ScholarGray13 (talk) 19:35, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Link to the sources you have found on Talk:Micronation and we can see what can be done with them. Donald Albury 23:16, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I will do that when I have free time this weekend. Will full citations be needed or can general links suffice? ScholarGray13 (talk) 01:52, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
