Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Sarbashis Kumar Paul, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

[edit]

https://utrs-beta.wmflabs.org/appeal/30866 is now closed. Response carried over:

I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. Please describe how your editing was unconstructive and how you would edit constructively if unblocked. You have been blocked for self promotion. To be unblocked, please agree to not try to do this anymore. If your only purpose on Wikipedia is self promotion, you cannot be unblocked.

Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information. (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks)

Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Hello, I'm responding here to the email you sent to me requesting to be unblocked. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to unblock you because you didn't address the reasons for your block, I had to come here to find it. The fact you've been asked a couple of times to address it and haven't, that makes me think you either don't understand why you were blocked or you don't have the competence that is required to edit Wikipedia. For any future unblock request to stand the chance of being successful, you will need to demonstrate that you understand why your edits were wrong. 5 albert square (talk) 13:50, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
