Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello Sandeep pranavam. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sandeep pranavam. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sandeep pranavam|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Cabayi (talk) 16:22, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cabayi. I am not directly or indirectly paid by anyone for Wiki edits. I am a software developer by profession, working in an MNC (My LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/sandeeppranavam). I contributes to wikipedia during my free time. As my professional responsibilities and work load increased year by year, the amount of contribution to wiki reduced over the years. You can see that from my contribution details. Not sure why you think I am paid for my edits. If you can specify any specific edit may be I can get some idea why you think so. From last few years, because of lack of free time, I usually don't add any new articles or do big edits. I only remove vandalism or correct unwanted edits from few pages which I watch/created when I get a mail notification for the same or correct contents which I occasionally come across while reading some article in wiki. Let me know if you need any more details. Sandeep pranavam 18:21, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
