Your Language on Trivandrum Pages and elsewhere!

[edit]

Impeccable language! I know this guy called Koothara Kurup, he speaks like you. - Enjoy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.96.184.149 (talk) 01:32, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Who is this Koothara Kurup? I know only one Koothara Kurup who is one of the father of my 'frnd' called Arun. --Samaleks (talk) 05:44, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Be Civil

[edit]

This is a formal complaint against your behaviour.

1. You have used unacceptable language in an edit summary. You said aana thoorunnathu kandu aadu thooraruthu. (a goat shall not shit copying an elephant shitting). The english translation is given for the benefit of non-malayalam speakers. This language is completely unacceptable in wikipedia.

2. By the statement, you have alluded that some editors have more rights (or carry more weight) than others. I assume this is made in reference to the similar edit of editor User:Aarem on the Kochi page. I acknowledge that editor Aarem is a senior editor, but as far as I know, all editors are considered equal in wikipedia. Even if you are NOT referring to editor Aarem, alluding that my edit carry less weight is against the principles of Wikipedia.

3. You have reverted an edit based on a valid and available reference, with a patronizing comment 'check the census site first'. You have not given the link to the reference. The original statement that you reverted DID NOT have a citation. If you have dispute about use of a reference, you should do it appropriately.

I am very sorry to say that your behaviour as an editor has a long history of violations of WP:Wikiquette. You are exploiting the concepts of WP:Assume good faith to the most, while denying the same to other editors.

It seems that you are hallucinating. What I have mentioned in the edit summary is a common proverb in Malayalam. The meaning is one should not try for things beyond ones capability. Do not jump in to assumptions that I was mentioning to Aarem or you. It is a generic statement, applicable to any one including me.. --Samaleks (talk) 05:37, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it is a proverb. But it is oin a language unacceptable at Wikipedia. If you insist that it is acceptable, I would like to get a third opinion on that.

Then, if you are saying I am not capable of getting references and making edits, that is a personal attack and an insult. That too is unacceptable on Wikipedia.

Anyway, the clear meaning of the proverb, irrespective of what you claim, is that someone should not do something because someone else did it. So, whether you meant it or not, your assertion comes across that I am a less capable editor than someone else.

It is not acceptable on wikipedia.

I expected your reply. You have a history of dragging silly things to the end of the world, and keep on arguing infinitely. I am not going to entertain you.. I cant educate you. I am foreseeing another blah blah here as your reply; and I am not going to reply further. All the best. --Samaleks (talk) 15:00, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at User talk:Samaleks, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Toddst1 (talk) 05:46, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hope, this was wrongly pasted here. I havent made personaly attacks against Mountainwhiskey. --Samaleks (talk) 07:07, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
