While I agree with your assessment of User:Kencf0618's edit, I don't think the edit justified your response. Please review Wikipedia:GOODFAITH and Wikipedia:CIVIL. The addition of 'octagonal', while certainly original research, and not correct, is neither critically central to the topic (ie no one will unduly suffer or die if they misunderstand the structure of the virus), nor a particularly eggregious violation. A notice to the user would have been appropriate. Threatening serious action is a bit beyond the necessary. aremisasling (talk) 14:55, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's this grok stats and the pace of creation of translated articles that concerned me. Some users find it interesting to try and insert a "meme" into the discourse, possibly to fool gullible journalists using Wikipedia for research. Resurr Section (talk) 20:28, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I've noticed you seem to have been around longer than your edit history might indicate. Did you have another username at one point, were you an IP-editor, or are you just really quick at picking up things? Hobit (talk) 23:08, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- I've been around. I had to stop myself editing because I was becoming addicted, so I randomized my password to break the habit. It's the watchlist that drags you back in. Resurr Section (talk) 23:18, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- I may do the same soon. I barely drink because I get addicted to things too easily. Best of luck! Hobit (talk) 00:19, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Agartala Church AfD
[edit]For cases in which you would like to nominate two or more similar articles for deletion (e.g. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Agartala City Baptist Church and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Agartala Baptist Church), it is recommended that you bundle them in a single AfD, to make the process easier. Please see WP:BUNDLE for details. Cheers, King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 05:50, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
